Loaner Equipment Available
All services provided with Warnock – Hershey certification in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association standards Fire Extinguisher Hydrostatic Testing Hydrostatic testing is required to test the integrity of a cylinder prior to approving it for continued service life. The cylinder is filled with water and pressurized while the unit is inside a safety cage or water jacket. This testing is required every 5 years for Pressurized Water, CO2, and K-Type extinguishers, and every 12 years for Dry Chemical extinguishers. Every six years, your extinguisher needs to be disassembled for an internal inspection and rebuilt. Every twelve years, your extinguisher needs to undergo hydrostatic testing. In cases where your equipment must be removed for extensive repairs or sandblasting and repainting, Scott Safety has the inventory to supply you with the “loaner” equipment to ensure your facility remains in compliance with applicable legislation.
